SAMMY HAGAR To Hit The Road This Summer

February 21, 2006

Sammy Hagar will be hitting the road in the U.S. this summer as part of the Livin' It Up tour. So far only one date has been announced: Friday, June 30 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. Tickets go on sale this coming Saturday, February 25 at 9:00 a.m. EST via Ticketmaster. More dates will be announced soon.

As previously reported, Sammy Hagar will be Alice Cooper's special guest on Cooper's radio show "Nights with Alice Cooper" airing on Wednesday, February 22. The program is a classic-rock format and is nationally syndicated on the United Stations Radio Networks. Air times differ, so make sure to check out NightsWithAliceCooper.com for more information.

A Sammy Hagar-themed cruise is currently being planned for April. The cruise would leave from Los Angeles and make its way down to Cabo San Lucas. Details have not been confirmed yet but there are rumors of "killer entertainment" on the way to Cabo and a private SAMMY AND THE WABOS show at the Cabo Wabo Cantina for people who have purchased this package.

The first U.S. outpost of Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina has been named a top location. The hospitality industry trade magazine Nightclub & Bar compiled a list of the Top 100 bars and clubs in the U.S., and Hagar's operation in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, made the list. The honor will be officially presented at the Nightclub & Bar/Beverage Retailer Beverage And Food Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas in March.

Hagar has plans to open several more Cabo Wabo locations across the U.S. He's got one due in St. Louis in spring 2007.
